I love all my classmates. Those years at Cass were very important to me. I am retired now but still enjoy life. I look forward to seeing everyone.

I have to say that my years at Cass Tech rank high among some of the greatest that I've ever experienced. My curriculum was Health, Education, and Welfare and I've been blessed to use it as ordained clergy in both the United Methodist and African Methodist Episcopal denominations (now retired), as well as a retired adjunct professor of comparative religion at Henry Ford Community College. Although our classes provided gourmet cooking for school events, I was often found in Performing Arts working in the one-act plays. What fun! I will always be grateful to God for having landed at Cass Technical High School!

Cass was such a learning experience for me. When I entered Cass in 9th grade I had only been in the US 2 years so my language skills were still lacking and my comfort with US customs was still very deficient. Then I met some really nice people in the arts program and by 12th grade I felt like a real American ready to take on the world. Although I did not end up in the career field I had trained for at Cass I believe that time contributed to me being the person I am today. Still love the arts in all it's various forms. I look forward to meeting everyone and hearing where life has led others from the doors of Cass Tech.

Fellow classmate, you may not remember me. I really hated high school especially by the time I graduated but I’ve grown to appreciate life and how blessed to have shared this experience of Cass Technical High School with YOU.
I’m remained of all the amazing people and the technical and scientific advances in the last fifty years and how it has influenced our lives. Who knew in 1970 we’d witness all these events and how blessed we are as participants? We made it and we are still here to celebrate our lives.
Perhaps you feel like me, “where did all the time go?” Perhaps you feel that you didn’t do all you wanted. It’s never too late to leave our stamp on the world. Many of the greatest people that lived, even heroes of the Bible didn’t make their mark until they were older than we are now. We graduated in 1970 and will celebrate 50 years in 2020. That’s got to mean something! We are more than winners. Yes, we are uniquely together in this place and in this time.
Looking forward to seeing you again.
With Much Love and Respect,
-Diane Henderson
